-a rockumentary about Finland's 22-Pistepirkko.

One of the truly original and eccentric bands to come from the Nordic countries.Sleep Good – Rock Well is a first ever intimate portrait of 22-Pistepirkko and band members Asko, PK and Espe during a demanding tour of Northern Europe spanning 50 concerts in 50 days.

The filmmaker had unique access to the band which he followed 24 hours a day on a tour around Europe.

Sleep Good – Rock Well is a musical portrait filled with great concert scenes, funny as well as disturbing tour scenes mixed with personal interviews. It captures the spirit of the band and tells an inspiring story about ambition, brotherhood, friendship and will power.

22-Pistepirkko’s music is wild, touching, catchy and usually experimental drawing from a lot of very different genres. Blues, punk, rock, electro, country and pure pop all come together in the musical world of 22-Pistepirkko. This mix has earned them a dedicated fan base across Northern Europe.

Apart from documenting the tour circle the film captures the band beyond the tour “coming back to life” developing new material in snowy Finland and eventually recording in sunny summer Helsinki.

22-Pistepirkko consists of brothers Asko and PK Keränen and childhood friend Espe Haverinen. The band has been around for almost 25 years and has just released 10th album “Drops & Kicks” . This is the first film ever made about the band.
